The prohibited list

  • High-frequency trading

  • Scalping strategies
  • Mirror trading
  • Hedging, including across accounts
  • All-in trading

Why prop firms ban copying

An evaluation is meant to measure one trader's decisions. If ten accounts copy the same signal, the firm is grading the signal seller, not you. Mirror trading between your own accounts also doubles exposure to one idea, which the hedging rule targets too.

What counts as copying

  • Software that copies trades from another account into your SabioTrade account
  • Placing the same trades by hand from a paid signal group at the same moment as others
  • Running the same positions on two of your own evaluation accounts

The FAQ says breaking these rules can lead to account restrictions under the terms, and for funded accounts bought from 2 February 2026, any rule breach makes the account ineligible for payout. See payout conditions and the scalping ban.
